Pumpkin Crumb Cakes Loaves and Donuts, Marshmallow Cookie Cups, Christmas Sugar Cookies, and Cake Donuts

A Baking Assistant

The holiday schedule has really thrown us off!  All my kids except for the oldest were up early today.  I had my daughter in the kitchen for practically my whole baking hour.  So I just got one thing done from my plan, and then we made cookies for her to decorate.

What Did I Make Today?

I made the recipe for Cinnamon Streusel Pumpkin Cake by Together as a Family into loaves and donuts.  Then I made chocolate chip cookie cups with marshmallows in the middle and some sugar cookies.  Oh – almost forgot – I finished the donuts – Cake Donuts by Handle the Heat – that I started yesterday.

How Did I Go?

My one planned recipe – Cinnamon Streusel Pumpkin Cake by Together as a Family – came out amazing.  I baked the loaves for 20 minutes, and the donuts for 10 minutes.

Definitely one for The Book!!

I should have baked the cookie cups longer than 8 minutes.  Maybe edible, maybe not.

Cute, though!  Update: turned out edible and popular!

Then my daughter’s cookies…

These – not so good.

But the donuts – really good!
